Did you want the best? My passion is personalizing every single client I have in my chair. Bringing cutting edge techniques to my clients and my team. Two times International Master Colourist, safe to say Colour is my forte. Change doesn’t scare me, and innovation is a must in my day and will always bring energy and idea to each individual. Ambassador for “The Future Creatives” delivering colour education nationally, Global Creative Colourist Finalist for Australia and NZ 2018 and Matrix Collective Victorian Winner 2021. Telstra Young Business Woman Victorian Finalist 2016 and current Educator for Colortrak.

Monica

Senior Stylist

Met Senior stylist Monica who is working towards being a certified Master Stylist and Colourist. With a hunger for education and training, this girl wants it all to give to you. Monica Has been in the hairdressing game since 2017 and the cutest thing  is she used to be a client of Mayko when she was in high school, it was love at first sight!

Monica’s fav thing to do is Colour and foil like a BOSS!

Dina

Emerging Stylist

Oh Hey Dina! this pocket rocket is about to finish her apprenticeship and qualify in the next 3 month! exciting times ahead for Dina, she loves lived in colour, utilising old colour and adding contrast. Not all colour work has to be such high maintenance.

Most of all she loves seeing her clients walk out with a smile on their face and checking out their reflection.

Charlotte

Charlotte is our aspiring junior stylist with a lot of sass and love for the hair industry. She loves making people feel beautiful and confident about themselves.

What’s Char’s hair magic power? Colouring, its no secret the Mayko girls have a huge passion for colour work and Char is on the rise.

When asked why hairdressing? Charlotte replied with:
“I love learning new things, I love everything about my job and making people love themselves. My favourite thing about hairdressing is looking back at the before and after pictures and seeing how creative I can be. I enjoy watching my clients leave with a new attitude and sass.”

Sarsha

A warm welcome to Sarsha at Mayko Hair!

With 30 incredible years in Mount Eliza village, she’s now bringing her amazing hair wizard skills to our team. With 30 years of experience and overflowing passion, we’re thrilled to have Sarsha alongside us every day!

I asked Sarsha what she loves most about hairdressing, and she said, “After 30 years, I still love that each day brings something new to create and learn.”

Brooke

Meet Brooke, also known as “Chook”, soaring with nearly three years of experience in the industry. As an emerging stylist on the brink of qualification, she brings boundless energy to her clients. Whether she’s blowing waves or customising colours, Brooke is eager for you to take a seat in her chair and collaborate on crafting your ideal look.

Nic

This man needs no introduction to the Mt Eliza Scene, 40+ years working in Mt Eliza village, he is back!

Carolyn

Salon Coordinator and Business Administrator

Carolyn is an experienced business manager who has made a career change from the NFP sector and is working on our front desk to help clients move through the solon smoothly and give our stylists more time to do what they do best – make our clients look and feel great.

Highly organised and experienced working with businesses to achieve their goals, Carolyn will also be working behind the scenes, reviewing, and improving our systems and helping to achieve Mayko’s vision to become the ultimate hair destination on the Mornington Peninsula.

Lisa

Lisa is the newest and youngest member of the Mayko team and brings with her an enthusiasm for learning, a big bright smile and a goal of becoming a qualified stylist. She has energy to burn and can be seen buzzing between tasks, supporting the team throughout the day. When asked what Lisa loves about working at Mayko, Lisa replied “the opportunity to learn from the best”.
